Albatrass pre xflow header tank query

Post by Jaguar »

The Albatross manual for an A series shows an engine mounted header tank. My hull (A2) has holes for a modified Climax type bulhead mounted one fitted to the rh side of the engine bay. Other A series hulls also seem to have this fitment. Does anyone know if this was a factory modification to stop the rear of the head from getting an air lock or is it just as been suggested to me that these were the only type available when the hulls were built?

Sent you a PM Jaguar.
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!
