Chrome plating

Post by Woodwych »

Recommendations please- the original fittings on the Broom are all Simpson Lawrence and deserve to be well restored.
Thanks

I don't know where you live but I have used London & Brighton Plating a few times always with good results. See: here for details
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!

These Simpson Lawrence ones were done by L&BP for me - what I liked was the depth of the chrome but the seams were still defined. I threw the Attwood monkey metal originals away.... Recently had some rope chocks done by them and the quality was consistent.
