The Minesweeper
Re: The Minesweeper
Is it Wise/ Safe to even consider getting someone to Tow such a vessel across the Irish sea, given all the problems you've had to date and that the weather window is diminishing?
Re: The Minesweeper
What happens if you get the Minesweeper over to Ireland(Dublin) and Waterways Ireland does not grant your Vessel access to Ringsend Basin,What next??
Re: The Minesweeper
Shane,if it goes pear-shaped again it might be better to sell Portisham to the Royal Navy for gunnery practice( having saved the ships bell as a memento/paper weight).

Re: The Minesweeper
Shane is near ready to make a "dash to Dublin"
Re: The Minesweeper
Given the current Irish sea state according to www.met.ie,that would be foolhardy.

The Only"dash to Dublin" i'd be making- would be if i could find a buyer to take it off my hands, as is where is, for a nominal fee.
