I looked at one a few streets away from me and concluded wouldn't be suitable for much down here, but the 90 year old who was selling his pride and joy said it was both fast (70s 25hp Evinrude Sportster), practical (his boys waterskied behind it) and capable in Southampton Water, where he ran it. Bearing in mind is a modified sailing dinghy it's quite an accolade.
Fasten bra straps and remove dentures...

i think im going to plop a nice quiet 10hp on it.. a 25 would be scary :-)

Forgot my camera.. so used my rubbish phone for the unveiling.. had to remove the masking tape, before it needed chiselling off :-(

I was hoping my ally strips where going to arrive today... http://www.metals4u.co.uk/ but nothing so far...

The rubbing stripes have arrived.. woohooo

a quick cut, bend, drill, count sink.. and bobs my uncle.. and i did some real work today!!! lol

After a Christmas in the sun.. flipped her over.. a bit of top coat in the forward and aft holds... looking good i think..

she is sprayed.. i used to roll and tip.. but ive found that spray is such a better result.. and easy ... spray guns with 1.8mm nozzle are only 35 quid...

Do you spray your varnish as well? And do you use single or two pack products? Shall be starting a similar process on mine very soon.
