A friend of mine has a Ganz Nixy in project condition that he is looking to get rid of, if anyone's interested let me know and I'll find out some more info, don't know anything else as of yet.

Here's some pics and info!
It's missing it's windscreen and the steering wheel but the pulleys and brackets are there for the steering, there's the rear grab handles and the central cleat for the bow rope. The trailer doesn't fit and belongs to another ali dinghy so is not included. Pics were taken today so are up to date.

He's asking £950 (I have no idea if that's a good price or not) but if your interested let me know and I'll pass on his number to talk further.
Boat is just outside of Tetbury, Gloucestershire.

Nice looking boats these, but at £950 is about 3 times too much for a Nixy missing so much. Needs screen, screen brackets, genuine wheel, moulded seat, floor, central cleat and a proper restoration to pull or fill the dents, which these are susceptible to. Scrap will be about £200, so work up from there.
Fasten bra straps and remove dentures...

Ah, thought it seemed a little steep but didn't know if these were rare or not!

I have one - looks a little more battered than this one but would appear to be a little more complete although in a similar state, it also has a trailer with it.
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!
