Re: Itchin and Scratchin run - May 24th

Carvalin due to be ready :D although not finished :grrr: next weekend. Would have loved to have come down, but I feel that a pootle up the Thames might be a slightly more sensible approach :hmmm: Fingers crossed.

Am hoping to get Carvalin in to water this weekend (hope she floats!). Is there an "itchin and scratchin run" coming up any time soon?

Re: Chertsey

Glad it went well. Would have loved to have been there but Carvalin is not yet ready (at least a couple of weeks away) and Friday's are not the best anyway. Hope to bring her along to an event soon.

Boat Friendly Hotels?

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a hotel in the south/south east where you can moor up overnight? Anywhere on a river, estuary or port would be ideal. Not too sure how the wife will take me taking the boat but, hey!

Re: Basics!

Hi, Wow, some great responses already! I thought it was Javelin Deluxe but wasn't sure as I'd seen others which also looked very similar - good to have it confirmed so I can at least pretend pretend I know what I'm talking about! Alacrity - thanks for the offer of loading up some "patterns", that wo...

Hi,

I have the completed forms on my desk awaiting postage on the way home!

Here are some pics:

Again, any direction on finding "bits" most welcome ( I have the screen and steering etc, but need some of the smaller pieces such as cleats)

Many thanks for the welcome!
