Mercury 80 firing order
Here’s a head scratcher, my Mercury 80 is firing on multiple cylinders at the same time eg 1&3 , 1&4 ,4&3 etc changed switch box to another brand new one, same thing, change plug leads over so engine technically should not start but it does without banging and backfire etc !!! Hi Floater, yes , it’s the lower crank seal, bottom plug is clean as a whistle compared to the other 3 just thought I’d let you know on here as it’s easier, any more posts on this as you say will be put in the engine room .
