Re: Rudder Extension
That is very neat!!
I may well have to replace the entire Rudder as the existing one I think is brass, so it would have to be bolted to it as I think brazing could be a bit problematic.

American un-braked Trailer for sale
We are selling the Performance Boat Trailer that we imported with our Boat earlier this year - as everyone tells me we need a braked trailer! Trailer has never been in the water, can carry up to 2500lbs or 750kg for UK standards as it is un-braked. We had our 17.5ft Chris Craft Runabout on it. It ha...

Harmsworth Trophy Racers
Hello Does anyone have information on the Harmsworth Trophy. I am trying to locate "any" boat that raced in this trophy and may be available to purchase/restore. Preferably I would like something early but quite honestly a boat from any of the races would be very interesting. Any help would be much ...

Chris Craft 1937 re-commissioning
We have recently completed the purchase and import of a 1937 Chris Craft Runabout. She was restored in 2006 and has not been in the water since. Next steps are to get her re-commissioned ready for use so that we can come along to the various club meets. Can anyone point us in the right direction for...

Re: London Boat Show 2012
So as "one of those" who signed up at the Boat show, I have to say firstly the people on your stand worked very hard at getting us to join - quite close to cattle prod persuasiveness!, but they were very polite and actually distilled a real passion - so we joined. Since then I have been overwhelmed ...

Looking to purchase Chris Craft Runabout
As some would have seen we have decided to abandon our current project - it needs just too much. So we are now looking to purchase a Chris Craft Runabout, or something of a similar design - 1936 to 1955 If you have anything or know of someone who has one for sale, or experience in importing from the...
