Charles Lawrence has written a book about Tremlett and will probably know.

Re: Huntress?

I, too, had a Huntress, many years ago. Fine boat beloved of the Navy. The Navy ones have a big lifting eye on the foredeck. Very wet, like the 28. You have to go up to a 31, Fantome, Spearfish to get the dry soft ride. Bit cramped below but adequate for close friends. Many will still have the perki...

Cocktail Class

Cocktail Class skimmer for sale. Carefully built in 2013 and finished in white with teak trim. It comes with three engines. A 1956 Fleetwin 7.5hp with its pressurised tank, a 1966 Fisherman 6hp and a 1977 Yamaha 6hp. All the engines run but seem to be struggling to get a 17 stone driver on to the pl...

Re: Penny Too in Powerboat & Rib mag.

It was a CMBA photoshoot with Penny Too, my Fantome and Geoff and Mike in the photo boat (who got a bit wet at one stage; not my fault, guv.)

Good article, worth tracking down a copy.

Re: Itchen & Scratchin Run

Low water is at 9.33 on the 29th. For those using the Hythe slip it is best to avoid 2 hours either side of low water so no need for a very early start. Arrive about 10.30, breakfast in the local café and launch 11.15ish.

Re: Tremlett 17

There is still a very long way to go, with fairing, filling, painting and trimming, but the basic work is done. We shall call her "Felony" cos I can't afford "Misdemeanor". The bubble is not the same shape as the original. I have made it a bit taller so that I can get the instruments between the dec...
