pre 60 outboard boat designs
Hi, I have been asked to make a model of a pre 1960 outboard hydro and would like that to be of British design, rather than the ubiquitous American form. Re: Views on epoxy sheathing..
Check old issues of Wooden Boat magazine from America. It is far and away the finest publication for all wooden craft. Dick Clarke of Lake Tahoe is THE glassing man for wooden boats. he does Chris Crafts and even Rivas and he uses epoxy resin, but makes the point that you have to use a special glass...

Re: The warner collection
It's a bit more than that sean, It's just about the most important sale of classic boats ever staged! Hundreds of boats , engines and parts. All with no reserve, in the middle of nowhere. Many of the boats are original, unrestored. One even has a Rolls Royce engine, which, in maroon, looks magnifice...

Re: Darby One Design
No apology necessary, Tatra man. I got that one horribly wrong after a bad day and didn't mean to get tetchy. Sorry. Forum life is always a bit touch and go in my experience. Not just this one of course! Thanks, sean-nos, I'll check it out. I've now made contact with Tim Measures and we had a good o...

"Autoglas repair...autoglas replace".
Ain't nuttn' beyond repair.
I thought it interesting for being an inboard amongst so many outboard glass boats.

No, just testing, though I'd have preferred a more topic-related comment, but I got that one wrong. You know what I mean, I'm sure.

Inboard on ebay. Classic glass? Cheap
Hi, just seen this on ebay

Got to be worth a punt by someone with a trailer and a bit of space. Looks like very early GRP, wings, et all.
