Towing boat abroad - vaccination

I'm going to be towing my boat abroad in the next fortnight, travelling through France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Can someone advise me of any proof of vaccination that I may need to take? I'm fully vaccinated - had my booster a while back though; 8 months.

Towing.

Hello... I am towing my boat to Italy this summer and I'm hoping that my son will step up and take on some of the driving. He passed his driving test in 2009 and I am aware that there are some restrictions in place in terms of what you are allowed to tow depending on when you passed your driving tes...

Vinyl supplier

Hello, I'm trying to source a supplier of seating vinyl that can supply me a marine grade vinyl that is both heat-sealed into pleats and also supply it in plain with no pleats. I know I can get an upholsterer to stitch in the pleats, but living in Scotland, I'm not keen in having rain water soaking ...

Loch Lomond Sculpture

A friend of mine is a sculptor of some note. He has produced this "bas relief" sculpture of Loch Lomond showing from Tarbet, south to Balloch. The original artwork was created in clay, solely by hand. A mould was then made, from which resin casts are produced in a pewter coloured finish. The cast's ...

Re: Towing my Boat to Italy

Sadly, never made the museum... too busy eating, drinking (apart from the driver), swimming and skiing. Hopefully going back next year and catch the museum then. That speed of over 50mph seems incredible. The odd time I have fully opened the taps, I got max of 43mph odds. Maybe that one had a 140hp?

Re: RIB Goodwin - around Britain by Avon Searider

Maybe your man's strategy is to pick up essential items as he goes along and the need arises. Flares and a prop. required at the end of the first leg, being an example. Perhaps the Searider will be like Trigger's broom by the time the journey ends. Bravo to the chap though - looking forward to the n...

Re: Towing my Boat to Italy

Given the lack of traffic on this forum, I didn't post any more about my proposed trip to Lake Como. But... we went there in July and had a great time. Hopefully with the new website up and running, this forum will regain traffic. Here's a picture of the tub at Varenna whist we dined early evening i...

Seemed a bit "kamikaze" to me... and I'm not a stranger to adventure.
