All those members or attendees of any Classic Motor Boat
Association of GB (CMBA) event agree not to make or prefer against the CMBA committee or any of
its officers or the location of the event any claim or demand in respect of any damages to any
person, craft, vessel or other property which may arise for any reason whatsoever and indemnify the
CMBA against all claims or demands in respect of the afore said matters.
All craft are to be so insured as to provide third party liability cover of at least £
1 million throughout the time that they are at any event.
The safety of each vessel attending any event is the sole and inescapable responsibility of the
owner or the owners representative who must ensure that his craft is fully found and thoroughly
seaworthy and must be satisfied as to the soundness of the hull and the gear and the competence of
those aboard to handle the craft under all conditions and to meet all emergencies as they arise.
Events Disclaimer
I declare that I hold a valid and current boat insurance which covers me for third party claims
whilst at any CMBA event and I will continue to do so whilst engaged in any CMBA event.
