The C.M.B.A. was set up in 1998 by Keith & Merle Jarrett, Rod Champkin and others.

The intention of the association is to gather together enthusiasts of classic motor boats. In addition, enable members to run and display their boats.

The wealth of specialist knowledge within the club allows enthusiasts to help each other with restoration projects.

As of 2007, we have over 240 members most of whom own a classic craft of one kind or another. Owning a boat is not a prerequsiste for membership, infact we encourage all with an interest in and enjoyment of classic boats.

We publish a newsletter every quarter packed with interesting articles and club information. The newsletter includes a buy/sell/wanted page. Members may advertise free of charge and photographs can be included.
