	A Happy New Year to all! While most of us are enduring snow, ice and freezing temperatures - Spring is just around the corner and the CMBA Events team have been hard at work preparing a full calendar of activities for the 2010 season. There are still a few details to be finalised but please check the latest 2010 Events Calendar here. We are kicking off the year by attending the London International Boat Show at ExCel from the 8th - 17th January. Please drop by and say hello if you are in the area! We are located in the 'Owners Associations' section. We look forward to seeing you all on the water in 2010 and welcoming members old and new.

The CMBA Forum is a great place to discuss your latest project, seek out those hard to find parts, identify your mystery boat or just complain abut the weather...

The Forum is free and while we would hope participants will become members, this is not a prerequisite for taking advantage of the wealth of collective knowledge found there!

Motorboat Museum
** UPDATE **

We are sad to report the closure of the Motorboat Museum at Basildon, familiar to many CMBA members as the venue of our opening meet of the season.

Strenuous efforts are being made by the Friends of the Museum to relocate the unique exhibits that were housed there.

It is hoped that the collection can be maintained as a whole and we will keep you notified as to progress.
